The next installment of Woodstock's Summer Concert Series will feature Departure: The Journey Tribute Band on Saturday, July 14. Departure replicates the look, sound and feel of the 80's iconic group. Hailing from Atlanta, Departure has taken to downtown's Madlife Stage many times, which has allowed the band to develop a large following in Woodstock.

Everclear will take to the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater stage on Saturday, Aug. 11. The popular 90's alternative rock band will take you back with their hits like "Father of Mine" and "Santa Monica," and is sure to be a favorite in this year's lineup.

Attendees should note the city will offer a free shuttle service for the concerts, which are free and open to the public. A total of 6 buses will run two routes:

  • Route 1: Northside Hospital Towne Lake Parking Deck (900 Towne Lake Parkway) traveling to and from the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater at 101 Arnold Mill Road.
  • Route 2: Woodstock City Church (150 Ridgewalk Parkway) traveling to and from the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater.

The shuttles will run during each summer concert from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Additionally, the city has designated an Uber/Lyft drop-off and pick-up location at the Chambers at City Center at 8534 Main Street. Of course, the city's trolley will run its normal routes during special events. You can check out the destinations and stops by visiting the city's website.
