• Georgia homeowners say HOA developer signed with himself, locking in control until 2040 (thecooldown.com) — Woodstock homeowners in Village of Towne Lake say their HOA remains effectively controlled by the original developer through a long-term management contract running to 2040, driving up fees and limiting transparency. Their fight over costs, authority, and access to financial records comes as Georgia readies a new statewide HOA complaint process set to begin reviews in 2027.
