Andrew Burns, 25, Passionate About Cooking, Sports and the Outdoors
Funeral services for Burns, who also owned a landscaping company, will be held on Monday at Woodstock Funeral Home.

Andrew Burns, 25, of Woodstock, passed away October 28, 2014. He was born on February 1, 1989, in Baltimore, MD. He attended Etowah High School and graduated from Polaris High School.
He loved to cook and specialized in seafood dishes. He was also the owner and operator of a landscaping company. He was caring and compassionate and many times went out of his way to help others. Andrew was his grandfather’s, Pop-pop Ed, caregiver. He was very athletic, played football in high school and was a devoted Baltimore Ravens fan.

Andrew loved the outdoors, and often found tranquility while camping by himself in the woods. He was a loving son and brother.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Burns, Sr, maternal grandparents, Edward “Pop-pop Ed” and Ann Lashley, and paternal grandparents, Walter and Irene Burns.

Andrew leaves behind his parents, Linda Burns Horning and Michael Horning; sisters, Katie Horning and Christina Burns; brothers, Dustin Horning (Kristi) and Robert Burns, Jr.; nieces and nephew, Kailee, Alex and Olivia Horning; and many aunts, uncles and cousins and his cat, Abby and dog, Spud.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2014, in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Andrew to either Gideon’s International or the Cherokee County Animal Shelter at 1015 Univeter Rd, Canton, GA 30115.
