Engracia “Grace” Byrd, 16, left her Canton home two to three weeks ago, and has not returned, the agency said.
Grace, who is known to frequent the Rome area, is described as a white female who’s 5’4’’, weighs around 110 pounds, has reddish hair and hazel eyes.
This latest BOLO alert for a missing/runaway teenager is the third one issued by the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office since late August. A 15-year-old girl was reported missing from her home in Woodstock while a 17-year-old boy ran away from his Ball Ground home.
Both teens eventually were located and returned home.
Anyone who is aware of the Grace’s whereabouts is asked to call sheriff’s office investigator Beatty at 770-928-0239, Cherokee County Dispatch at 678-493-4080, or 911.
