AroundAbout Local Media Buys Acworth Magazine

ACWORTH, GA -- Starting next month, Acworth Community Magazine will be known as Around Acworth.

That's because the monthly magazine, which launched in 2005, has been purchased by AroundAbout Local Media, which owns three additional community magazines in Cherokee County.

Around Acworth will continue to focus on local people and events, school and community news while offering businesses an affordable, hyperlocal advertising opportunity.

AroundAbout Local Media was named the 2016 Small Business of the Year by the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce. The company's flagship publication is the TowneLaker, which was launched in 1996 as a newsletter serving what was then Woodstock’s newest master planned community.

In the last 20 years, the TowneLaker has grown to become a 100-page, full color glossy publication that’s delivered to more than 16,000 residents monthly.

ALM also publishes Around Woodstock and Sixes Living magazines. With the addition of Around Acworth, monthly distribution reaches more than 65,000 homes and businesses.
