Most recently, the Rotary Club of Woodstock donated a $2,500 gift to sponsor the initial outdoor sculpture installation on the Event Green. This donation comes on the heels of recent grants and gifts from the Imlay Foundation, JW Enterprises and Preservation Woodstock.

The increases in funding partners are a result of successful fundraising and grant work by the Elm Street staff and the organization's Board of Directors, the organization said.

With a goal this year to raise $750,000 to renovate the Reeves house and sustain the school outreach program, donor contributions result in tangible improvements and educational benefits.

“Each layer of support helps us to build additional support," said Christopher Brazelton, operations director for Elm Street. "Foundations like to see significant community partners before they consider offering a grant to a non-profit."

Along with support from the city of Woodstock, Brazelton added the organization has also increased its financial based to include more than 200 contributors to Elm Street's annual fund and its Revive The Reeves campaign, more than 20 community and corporate partners and four foundations to support its endeavors.

Along with those donors, the volunteer support of visionaries have contributed more than 37,000 hours to the organization.
