Atlanta Crush U15 team is IMG national Champions and placed 4th at Dicks nationals

The Woodstock area should be proud!! 8 players from WHS,3 from Creekview HS, 2 from Etowah and 12 players from other GA. schools joined forces as The Atlanta Crush Lacrosse team.

In November just before Thanksgiving, they travelled to Sarasota Fl to compete in the Inaugural IMG National tournament competing with 8 nationally qualified teams to win it all!
Yes they are National Champions. They had a rough first day of competition, but came back strong to defeat 3 elite teams to win the Championship.

Then again this weekend they travelled to Tampa Florida to compete in the Dicks National tournament. This time there were 16 teams competing for the Title. A few were club teams like ours, but most were elite select teams from multiple states. They came from all over the US and even from Canada. The competition was intense and even at the U15 level the teams included many Division 1 college commits. Our boys played hard never giving up and came away with 4th place in the nation.

We parents couldn't be prouder of the heart, class and determination these boys have shown over the past year. Great job guys, I hope you do it all again in 2014!
