Barracudas Unbeaten!

The swim team from Bradshaw Farm capped off its victorious summer 2015 campaign by saluting its outstanding swimmers.

The Bradshaw Farm Barracudas swim team finished the Cherokee Summer Swim Association 2015 season undefeated with a victory over the River Green Rays, 599 to 250. This summer, the ‘Cudas also beat the Woodmont Wahoos, Arbor View Devil Rays, Orange Shoals Otters and the Laurel Brooke Lightning.

The Coaches’ Award went to Max Derman and Victoria Ergle.

The Extra Mile Award was presented to Tristan Barber, Trey Johnston & Jake Young.

6 & Under – Addy Blalock & Ian Blum

7 & 8 – Pearson Jones & Lainey Blase

9 & 10 – Laurel Blase & Gavin D’Ambrosio

11 & 12 – Grant Davis & Morgan Carter

13 & 14 – Emma Gelatt & Connor Johnston

15 & Up – Jack Garnham & Ansley Davis

These are the Barracudas’ Most Improved Swimmers:

6 & Under – Gracie Summers & Braden Howard

7 & 8 – Charlie Upchurch & Haylee Johnson

These swimmers received the Ten Year Award for their decade on the team: Bethany Palmer, Jack Murray, Daniel Ergle & Ansley Davis.

Seven ‘Cudas were honored for breaking team records:

Kamryn Carter (Girls 15-18) 50 Backstroke & 50 Breaststroke

Grant Davis (Boys 11-12) 50 Backstroke & 100 Freestyle

Lainey Blase (Girls 7-8) 25 Butterfly & 100 IM

For Girls (13-14) 200 Freestyle Relay – Kylie Mullings, Maddy Rogers, Jordan Weems & Emma Gelatt

Here are the Bradshaw Farm 6 & Under “Bitty Barracudas” who were recognized:

Addie Kate Black, Addy Blalock, Juliana Mathews, Gracie McCrobie, Anna Kate McNeal, Ella Grace Moores, Gracie Summers, Gigi Williams, Ian Blum, Atticus Diaz, Luke Griffies & Braden Howard

Finally, there was a fond farewell to the Barracudas’ graduating seniors: Trey Ergle, Jack Garnham, Trace Kloeblen & Alston Tucker.

The Bradshaw Farm team is proud to be sending 18 of its swimmers and Co-Head Coach Pam Hess to the upcoming GRPA District 5 Swim Meet on July 11th at the Cherokee County Aquatic Center.
