Best selling authors join the fun at FoxTale Book Shoppe
Mary Kay Andrews, Karen White, Raymond Atkins, Jeff High, Rob McClurkan, Margie Carroll & Wendy Wax will visit with fans on Saturday
FoxTale Books Shoppe is celebrating the holidays with a star-studded family-friendly holiday author event featuring NY Times Bestselling authors Mary Kay Andrews and Karen White, Georgia Author of the Year Raymond Atkins, Jeff High, Rob McClurkan, Margie Carroll & Wendy Wax on Saturday, December 13 starting at 1pm.
FoxTale co-owner Ellen Ward shared, “We’ve got a crazy wonderful author lineup this Saturday to help the Foxes celebrate another successful year as YOUR community bookstore. And, yes, our author celebs will be signing books, the PERFECT gifts, if even for yourself! Don’t miss it. Free drinks and party snacks are only part of the fun!”
FoxTale is enjoying its 8th holiday season according to Ward, who said that FoxTale work’s hard to listen to their customer’s likes and dislikes and says one of the most fun parts is to be given a few tidbits about someone and to put the perfect book in their hand. Ward added, “Most of our customers this time of year don’t come in looking for a specific book, but rather want recommendations from real book lovers. Every book is at FoxTale for a reason and we’re happy to share those reasons!”

When asked what has been the most popular books this holiday season, co-owner Karen Schwettman said, “Rick Bragg’s new book on Jerry Lee Lewis has been hands-down the best seller. Rick was here this past Tuesday and left signed copies of all his books; we expect those to sell out by the holidays. Other popular titles include: Unbroken, Small Victories, The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry, All the Light You Cannot See, The Miniaturist, 41, Killing Patton, Smile, Pete the Cat, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Learning to Walk in the Dark, Jesus on Trial and Dogs in Cars.”
FoxTale is located at 105 East Main Street, adjacent to the Woodstock City Park Gazebo in the same center as Vingenzo’s and Leaning Ladder.
