Burglars Strike Nike Outlet Store in Woodstock

The Woodstock Police Department is asking the public to help them identify the suspects responsible for the burglary.

The Woodstock Police Department is asking residents to help them crack the case of an apparent burglary at the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta.

Officers responded to an alarm call the Nike store at 915 Ridgewalk Parkway around 1:10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, the agency said in a press release. The officers arrived onto the scene within minutes of the call and found a shattered glass window.

Officers were able to clear the store, and detectives soon converged onto the scene to conduct their investigation.

Woodstock investigators believe five suspects were involved. Four individuals were identified as wearing dark-colored hoodies while one person was spotted wearing a hoodie light in color, police said.

Additionally, Woodstock police also said they believe the suspects arrived and left in two separate vehicles: one dark in color and another mid-sized vehicle light in color.

Merchandise was taken from the store, but the total value of the items has not been determined.

Detectives continue to follow up on additional leads in the case and anyone with information is asked to call Woodstock Police Department’s tip line at 770-592-6021. Callers can remain anonymous.
