A Hasty Elementary School Fine Arts Academy parent has been named to a statewide education panel!

Gabriela Vazquez is among 30 parents from across the state selected to serve on the 2022 State School Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Council. The Council will meet throughout the school year to hear updates on educational programs and initiatives and share feedback with State School Superintendent Richard Woods and his staff.

“We greatly value parent ideas and opinions and look forward to discussing ways to increase parent and family engagement and ensure success for all students,” Georgia Department of Education Family Engagement Specialist Mandi Griffin said.
