Executive Chef and Partner Daniel Porubiansky of downtown Woodstock’s popular spot, Century House Tavern, has won the prestigious Springer Mountain Farms Celebrate the Chef Award. Porubiansky’s skillful technique and locally sourced cuisine, combined with his dedication and impressive culinary background made him the top contender for the award.

Springer Mountain Farms, known for its flavorful, humanely-raised chicken without antibiotics, presents the Celebrate the Chef Award each quarter to one Atlanta-area chef who represents a top-tier restaurant, provides superior service and features its chicken on the menu. With 30 years of experience, Chef Daniel Porubiansky came from Bacchanalia and Star Provisions. He started as a partner and executive chef at Century House Tavern in spring 2013, and has worked in kitchens that have countless AAA Diamonds and Michelin Stars.
