Charlie Daniels Band Kicks Off Woodstock Summer Concert Series
A free shuttle service will be provided to concert-goers from the Northside/Towne Lake parking deck to the amphitheater.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- The city of Woodstock is gearing up for the first concert series that will be held at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater, and will offer a treat for those who still haven't figured out how they will get in and around the area.
A large crowd is anticipated to see the Charlie Daniels Band kick off the 20th Annual Summer Concert Series on Friday, May 12, so the city has announced it will provide a free shuttle service for concert goers.
The shuttle will leave Northside/Towne Lake parking deck located at 900 Towne Lake Parkway, traveling to and from the amphitheater at 101 Arnold Mill Road.

Two 44 passenger shuttle buses will run from 5 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. Individuals interested in utilizing this service may park at the parking deck to ride the shuttle. The shuttle will then drop off and pick up riders along East Main Street in downtown Woodstock.
If it goes well, City Manager Jeff Moon told Council members at the May 8 meeting that the shuttle service could be used for future concerts.

Parking will also be available at Chattahoochee Technical College's Woodstock Campus and the Chambers at City Center parking lots. Furthermore, Woodstock Funeral Home will allow public parking after 5 p.m. Friday, May 12, the city notes. Woodstock's trolley, which is ADA compliant, will also run from 6 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. Friday.
Daniels, who was recently inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, is sure to be a crowd pleaser with his signature song “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”
