Chattahoochee Gold Swimmer Commits to Minnesota's Gustavus Adolphus College
Katherine Brostrom says, "I like cold. The cold does not phase Brostrom as she heads to the North."

Chattahoochee Gold swimmer Katherine Brostrom has announced her commitment to swim for Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota beginning in the fall.
Katherine is a senior at South Forsyth High School where she swam for the War Eagles. At the Georgia 6A State Championship meet earlier this month, she competed in the 50 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle, 200 Freestyle Relay and the 400 Freestyle Relay. As a freestyle specialist, she also enjoys competing in the 500 Freestyle event.
A swimmer for 9 years, Katherine trains with the Chattahoochee Gold club team at the Cumming Aquatic Center.

Several of Katherine's relatives have attended Gustavus Adolphus College, including her grandfather Paul Brostrom, class of '59. She'll study biology.
As a USA Swimming Silver Medal Team, Chattahoochee Gold is one of the top 100 year-round swim programs in the country. Based at the Woodstock Aquatic Center, Gold also trains swimmers at the Mountain View Aquatic Center in East Cobb, Cherokee County Aquatic Center in Canton and Cumming Aquatic Center.
