Chattahoochee Tech Welcomes Students At Literary Festival
The day-long festival featured award-winning author Becky Albertalli, along with an assortment of creative and professional workshops.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Chattahoochee Technical College celebrated literature and the arts with hundreds of participants at the third annual “CTC Writes! Literary Festival” held Thursday, Oct. 17, at the college’s Woodstock Campus.
The popular, day-long festival featured award-winning author Becky Albertalli, along with an assortment of creative and professional workshops, a local authors’ book fair and panel discussions, along with literary readings. Included among the participants at this year’s event were nearly 100 students from Cherokee County’s River Ridge High School.
The strong team of authors who led panel discussions at the 2019 “CTC Writes! Literary Festival” included Jackson Pearce, Lauren Karcz, Michael Buchanan, Samantha Heuwagen, Rachel Allen, Gina Ciocca and Misha Cahnmann-Taylor.
