Cherokee Sheriff's Office Searching For Loose Goat Owner
The Cherokee Sheriff's Office caught a goat named "Billy" after he darted into traffic this weekend, and now they are looking for his owner.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Deputies from the Cherokee Sheriff's Office have been on a wild goat chase this weekend, and are now trying to find the owner of said goat.
The Sheriff's Office said on Facebook Sunday morning they had received several reports of a goat, henceforth referred to as “Billy," darting into traffic over Friday and Saturday near Bells Ferry Road and Hwy 92.
"'Billy' has led deputies on several foot chases and has managed to elude them until (Sunday) morning when Oak Grove deputies cornered him on Legendary Tarn," the post said. "After a short standoff, 'Billy' was taken into custody without incident."

“Billy” remains in custody at the Cherokee County Animal Shelter, the CSO said.
They are asking for the owner of “Billy” to call the shelter at 770-345-7270.

The department said they, "consulted professionals and this is actually a 'geep,' goat/sheep hybrid. Or simply a goat in sheep’s clothing ."
