"With extremely heavy hearts and a great deal of sadness to say Aidan has gone home to be with the lord Jesus Christ," a post in the Prayers for Aidan Facebook group states. "The doctors performed the second test this morning and we did not get the results we so badly wanted. Please understand today is a hard day for the family so please be patient with us. We thank you all greatly for all the support and continued prayers. Aidan is a blessing to so many here on earth and is now a major blessing to all above. He will continue to watch after his little brother Jasper and his mother Ashley from a much more powerful place."
