Copper Coin Coffee To Begin Serving Beer, Wine

The coffee shop at 400 Chambers Street in downtown Woodstock also serves breakfast and lunch items.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- A popular coffee shop in downtown Woodstock will now offer adult beverages for its patrons who routinely enjoy its unique business venture.

Copper Coin Coffee announced it will soon begin serving beer and wine for on-premise consumption at its shop at 400 Chambers Street. The company made the declaration Tuesday on its Facebook page.

"We are official," the company said. "Beer and wine shall commence as soon as we are able to take delivery of our product."

The Woodstock City Council at its June 12 meeting approved the alcohol license application submitted by the company.

Copper Coin Coffee originally opened in 2010 on Towne Lake Parkway, but relocated to downtown in 2011. In December 2015, the store announced it would open up shop in Brookhaven. It also serves breakfast and lunch items.
