'Could Not Be A More Proud Mom': Mother's Day Photos

Help Patch celebrate Mother's Day 2018 by sending in your mother-daughter (or son) lookalike photo.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them.

With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Georgia to share their "mother-daughter (or son) lookalike" photos. It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies!

Woodstock resident Jennifer Vaughn is gushing about her daughter, Cassidy, "who is not so little anymore."

"As she grows up I see her amazing heart for people and I could not be a more proud mom," Jennifer Vaughn said. "I couldn't ask for a better mini me." Happy Mother's Day, Jennifer!

Canton resident Natasha Dunn showcased her mini me, daughter Bailey. When her daughter sees a baby picture of her mother, the resemblance is so strong that Bailey believes she's staring at a photo of her younger self.

"She is the light of our lives," Dunn added. "She has a tender heart and is a joy to be around, as she is always smiling and laughing. We are ever so grateful for this sweet gift and look forward to watching her grow into a beautiful young lady on the inside and out."

Molly Broderick, also of Woodstock, shared a lovely message about her daughter, 22-year-old Laura, who is studying at Kennesaw State University.

"I'm so proud of her compassionate heart and hard work as she's finishing up a social work degree at KSU," she said. "This beauty made me a mama and I'm grateful." Their photo was taken last year at a concert at the now defunct Georgia Dome.

Jennifer Lizza is also praising her precious baby, 11-year-old Sophia.

"I just love the sweet, caring, thoughtful young lady Sophia has become," Lizza, of Woodstock, said. "Love that she’s always making birthday videos for her friends on their birthdays. She truly gets her crafting from her momma."
