CPR Class Offered To Woodstock Residents

The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce will host the class on Thursday, May 19.

CANTON, GA -- As part of the Cherokee County Chamber’s Community Outreach Programs, the organization will host a CPR/AED class next week.

The class will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 19 at the organization's offices, which are at 3605 Marietta Highway in Canton.

In the event of an emergency, your CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defribrillator) and First Aid training could mean the difference between life and death.

By properly administering CPR, you can help stabilize someone who is injured or ailing until help arrives.

A representative from Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services will teach the class, which is limited to nine seats.

Class participants must be 14 years of age to receive certification, and the cost is $41, which includes the mandatory workbook.
