Praxis3 Architecture has petitioned the city for a conditional use permit and variances on about 12.6 acres of land at 285 Ridgewalk Parkway.

The company is requesting the permit to allow for Nissan automobile sales and variances from lot size and dimensions, secondary setback, location and screening of parking, architecture and building material, block size, thoroughfare network, alley requirements, number of outbuildings, encroachment into the 25 foot impervious stream setback and signage.

The parcel sits on the southwest corner of Ridgewalk Parkway at Ridge Trail and is owned by Ridgewalk Holdings, LLC.

The Woodstock Planning Commission will consider the case at its June 4 meeting, which starts at 7 p.m. at the Chambers at City Center.

Once the commission renders its recommendation, the case will proceed to the Woodstock City Council, which will hear the request at its June 22 meeting. The council’s meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the Chambers at City Center.

In October, the council denied a request from Carriage Woodstock LLC to rezone 5.95 acres so it could build a Kia dealership adjacent to the Brookshire subdivision. The lands sits on the northside of Ridgewalk Parkway west of Interstate 575 and the outlet mall.
