About Tinkergarten

Every week this Spring, families meet outdoors to connect and learn through play. In a 5-part class each week, Tinkergarten Leader, Courtney Peralta-O'Neal, will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and create together. Parents and caregivers learn, too, as we’ll share insight into your child’s development. The program progresses to meet each child’s need season after season. Tuesday sessions and Thursday sessions are being offered. This spring, the curriculum for 18 months-5 years will emphasize:

Communication Creativity & Imagination Focus & Self-Control Making Connections Problem Solving Motor Skills Sensory Empathy Persistence & Grit Teamwork

Tinkergarten is on a mission to elevate childhood. We’re growing a technology-enabled network of leaders that bring families together in a natural place in their community for classes where kids learn through play. Each class becomes a tight-knit group of children and adults who learn together through well-designed, outdoor play-based activities. We help kids develop a host of important capabilities, including empathy, collaboration, creativity, persistence and problem solving. Our expert-designed classes and activities help kids ages 18 months—8 years develop core life skills while enjoying healthy, fun, engaging experiences in the physical freedom of local green spaces.
