About WellStar Announces Acquisition of Five Medpost Urgent Care Locations in Metro Atlanta
Facilities provide same-day walk-in options for patients
(MARIETTA, Ga. – March 15, 2019) – WellStar Health System today announced the acquisition of five Medpost Urgent Care facilities in the North Fulton Hospital and WellStar Atlanta Medical Center markets. Well Star now operates 15 urgent care locations.

The new WellStar urgent care facilities are located at:
WellStar Urgent Care – Woodstock – 12201 GA 92, Woodstock, Ga.
WellStar Urgent Care – Alpharetta – 5655 Atlanta Hwy., Alpharetta, Ga.
WellStar Urgent Care – Crabapple – 12460 Crabapple Rd., Alpharetta, Ga.
WellStar Urgent Care – Camp Creek – 3730 Carmia Dr. SW, Atlanta, Ga
WellStar Urgent Care – Stockbridge – 3576 GA 138, Stockbridge, Ga
Each facility offers treatment for minor emergencies, illness and injuries, including laboratory and x-ray services for people of all ages. Additional offerings include sports physicals, occupational health services, and worker’s compensation services.
“Urgent care centers serve a vital need for more immediate or after hours care when a patient cannot see their primary health care provider,” said Dr. Mark Salsberry, medical director of WellStar Urgent Care. “Sharing one chart through our electronic records system offers our providers and patients a seamless healthcare experience, connecting patient, provider, specialist and hospital around our patients’ needs.”
