Drive-By Flu Shot Clinic Scheduled For Sept. 26
The drive-by clinic will be held at Woodstock City Church on Ridgewalk Parkway.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- If you really want to get a flu shot, but just can't find the time to wait at a doctor's office or pharmacy, the Cherokee County Health Department has the perfect solution to accommodate your busy schedule.
The department will host its annual Drive-By Flu Shot Clinic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 in Woodstock. This year, the initiative will take place at Woodstock City Church at 150 Ridgewalk Parkway. Next week's clinic also allows public health staff and community health partners practice point of dispensing operations for times of emergency, the North Georgia Health District said.
This year's vaccine, 4-in-1 Quadrivalent flu shots, will be $25, and the Fluzone high dose flu shots for people 65 and older will cost $65 (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app).

Cash, checks, credit cards, Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Coventry, Humana and United Healthcare insurance will all be accepted as forms of payment. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends getting a flu shot each year.
