Easter Eggstravaganza Raises Over $2,600 For NICU Fund

Northside Hospital-Cherokee on Saturday hosted its 29th annual Easter Eggstravaganza.

More than 2,000 people joined Northside Hospital-Cherokee for its 29th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza, which was held on Saturday, March 28 on the facility’s grounds in Canton.

“It was a beautiful day for an Easter Egg hunt,” said Billy Hayes, CEO, Northside Hospital-Cherokee. “Thank you to all of the families who came out to support Northside Hospital-Cherokee and help make this year’s Easter Eggstravaganza such a success.”

The Northside Hospital-Cherokee Easter Eggstravaganza is a Cherokee County tradition. Children and their parents enjoyed photos with the Easter Bunny, hot dogs, cotton candy and popcorn, moon walks, carnival games, arts & crafts, sand arts, a magician, face painting, balloon artists, a petting zoo and so much more.

Roughly $2,600 was raised from the photos with the Easter Bunny, T-shirt sales and other donations. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Northside Hospital Foundation’s NICU (Special Care Nurseries) Fund for babies at Northside Hospital-Cherokee.

The event also collected diapers, wipes and baby food for MUST Ministries in Cherokee.
