Elm Street Names Associate Artistic Director
Siobhan Brumbelow, a longtime member of the Woodstock-based organization, has been promoted to this new position.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Woodstock-based Elm Street Cultural Arts Village has named Siobhan Brumbelow as associate artistic director. With this new position, Brumbelow will have the opportunity to focus on the quality of productions at Elm Street, helping the organization grow artistically.
“Siobhan has transformed the Education Department at Elm Street (and has) made a commitment early to ensure that each student has an opportunity to grow,” Elm Street Executive Director Christopher Brazelton said. “What has happened since has been marvelous to watch. I'm excited to see her take that same enthusiasm to the entire theatre and be able to impact the community at large.”
Brumbelow first began working with the organization on and off from 2002 until 2015. Her involvement began with what was originally the Towne Lake Arts Center. There, she contributed in a variety of ways, including managing educational programs, organizing the iThink Improv Troupe and choreographing different shows (For more news like this, find your local Patch here. In 2015, she became Elm Street's education manager while the organization was looking to expand and grow their organization into something bigger. With that growth, Elm Street began to notice there was a need to focus on the artistic side of its operations. Until her recent promotion, it was a responsibility Brumbelow shouldered among her various duties.
This new position will allow Elm Street's productions advance to the next level, "hopefully acquiring a
nearly professional level of performance within the community, ultimately contributing to their overall artistic growth," the organization said.

“It’s going to challenge me, as we are heading in a new, yet better direction," Brumbelow said. "However, my
artistic background makes me confident in handling the creative side of things."
The Towne Lake Arts Center was renamed to Elm Street Cultural Arts Village in 2010 when it moved from its previous home on Bells Ferry Road to downtown Woodstock. While its offices are housed at the Chambers at City Center, the organization is hard at work transforming the former Reeves House along the Noonday Creek Trail to become its new headquarters.
