It is camp season for children and youth and that includes the scouts. The Cherokee Pickens Sunset Camp is a camp for Boys Scouts of America in the Cherokee and Pickens counties to learn and earn scout badges. The camp is June 18th - 22nd from 6 p.m. to 9 pm. located at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building in Woodstock (2205 Bascomb Rd., Woodstock, GA 30189). This year’s camp theme is Cub Sports Challenge where the scouts can learn skateboarding, shooting sports, wood crafts, music, hockey and even basketball with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
