Fatal Crash Shuts Down I-575 In Woodstock On Sunday

WOODSTOCK, GA — A 19-year-old has died after she lost control of her car on Sunday, Woodstock Police said.

At 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers were dispatched to a single vehicle accident on I-575 southbound just south of Highway 92.

Preliminary investigation shows that the driver, Jasmine Beasley, 19, of Woodstock, lost control of her vehicle and was not wearing her seatbelt. Beasley was pronounced dead on scene.

I-575 southbound was shut down during the investigation.

The accident remains under investigation.
