Lounge singer Lana Jade has been murdered, and Elm Street Cultural Arts Village invites you to join Detective Rex T. Jones as he seeks the culprit in this year’s Ghost Tales and Trails event, The Lady of Noir.
The story telling tour will run every thirty minutes from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 22-30.

The tour will start and end at “Club Noir,” home to the late Lana Jade, located at the Event Green in downtown Woodstock.
The club will offer a place to meet and relax with others while enjoying a variety of concessions, interactive fun and prizes.
The show, written and directed by Colton Combs, features seven potential suspects, with different circumstances and a different guilty party each night of the performance.
“The audience will be able to conduct the investigation along with Detective Jones,” Combs said. “It will be a little like the board game Clue in that they will be trying to discover who committed the crime and how they did it.”
The guilty party will be revealed via a confession on Facebook the day after the performance, so tour participants will be able to see if their deductions were correct.
“Since this event is more of a mystery to be solved than a scary event, we’ve rated the show as PG,” Siobahn Brumbelow, Elm Street’s education manager, said. “We’ve also designed it so that the trail runs along paved walkways, so those in wheelchairs or strollers can easily participate.”
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door, and can be purchased at www.elmstreetarts.org/ghosttales/. The event will be held on the Event Green and Resurgens Orthapedics Community Stage, which sits adjacent to the Noonday Creek Trail along Market Street in downtown Woodstock.
