Girl Power Fuels Barracudas' Victory
At 2-0, the Bradshaw Farm Barracudas remain undefeated in the White Division of the Cherokee Summer Swim Association.
The Bradshaw Farm Barracudas renewed their East Cherokee Drive swimming rivalry with the Arbor View Devil Rays at the Bradshaw Pool. Thanks to the Barracudas’ roster of strong girl swimmers, the home team came away with a 509 to 407 victory.
The Lady Barracudas won 41 of their 43 events, led by a pair of sister acts.
Kamryn and Morgan Carter each won three individual events. Kamryn captured the Girls 15-18 100 Freestyle, 50 Freestyle and 50 Breaststroke. Morgan was tops in Girls 11-12 100 Freestyle, 100 IM and 50 Butterfly.

The Blase Sisters contributed a total of six individual victories. Laurel Blase was first in Girls 9-10 25 Breaststroke, 100 IM and 25 Butterfly. Lainey Blase was fastest in Girls 7-8 50 Freestyle, 25 Breaststroke and 25 Butterfly.
The other Lady Barracudas with three individual victories included Emma Gelatt who won the Girls 13-14 50 Freestyle, 100 IM and 50 Butterfly. Ansley Davis won the Girls 15-18 100 IM, 50 Backstroke and 50 Butterfly.
