Holiday Lights of Hope Returns To Hobgood Park

Woodstock, GA -- It’s that time of year again. It’s time to marvel at elaborate displays of holiday lights all in the name of helping Cherokee County’s most vulnerable children.

The annual Holiday Lights of Hope event will return this week to Hobgood Park in Towne Lake. The show will open nightly at 6 p.m. Dec. 10-22 at the park, which is located at 6688 Bells Ferry Road in unincorporated Woodstock.

Admission, which includes all activities, is $10 for adults and free for children 14 and under. The annual event will include holiday lights (of course), seasonal concessions, vendors, a light maze, a visit with Santa Claus and a children’s activity area.

Last year’s Holiday Lights of Hope had about 25,000 attendees, 1 million LED lights and helped 500 families who are assisted by the Anna Crawford Children’s center, according to the event’s website.

The Anna Crawford Children’s Center and its staff work together to serve thousands of Cherokee County children and family members impacted by child sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect and exposure to violence, allowing them to live healthier, fuller and happier lives.
