Holly Springs Police Wants To Help You Detect Internet Scams
In April. the agency will offer a free seminar on how you can protect yourself and loved ones from various Internet schemes.

In light recent scams targeting senior citizens, the Holly Springs Police Department is taking proactive measures to inform the public on what it can do to prevent falling for these schemes.
The Holly Springs Police Department will offer a free, 2-hour Choose to Refuse - Safe Citizen seminar in April.

The class is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21. The program will present information on various topics such as how to spot a fraud on the telephone or your doorstep, popular scams, online/Internet risks and scam prevention, protecting personal information, safe in meeting places, securing your home and street safety tips.
Information from the seminar can be shared with various family members, ranging from senior citizens to children and teenagers.

This seminar is offered at no cost, and you do not have to be a resident of Holly Springs to participate. A venue for the seminar will be announced in the coming weeks.
