In Memory: Annell Smith, a Retired Nurse
Smith was a retired nurse and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Annell M. Smith, 75, of Woodstock passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at Northside Hospital-Cherokee.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Smith was cremated.
Smith spent her entire life taking care of others. She was retired from the nursing profession and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Claude T. Smith and parents Dewey and Myrtle Maxey.
Survivors include her siblings Ophelia Brooks of Summerville; Frances Holt of Summerville; Ralph Maxey of Chattanooga; Ricky Maxey of Summerville; Cathryn Pittman of Auburn; sisters-in-law Alice Maxey of Summerville, Doris Maxey of Summerville, Shirley Maxey of Rome; grandchildren Jason Sawyer of Woodstock, Brooke Baxley of Woodstock; great-grandchildren Michael, Hunter, Jay Lynn and Elizabeth.
