If that week of laughter won't provide enough therapy, then on Jan. 28, iThink will host the third annual LAST LAUGH competition. This competition allows stand-up comedians and comedic troupes compete for the audience’s laughter, with only one being awarded the Last Laugh prize.

Tickets are $10 online at www.elmstreetarts.org and $15 at the door. Rated PG-13, the show starts at 7:30 p.m. and will also be held in the auditorium at the Chambers at City Center.

Troupe members performing on Jan. 21, 26 and 27 are Andrew Berardi, Allie Hendrix, Jillian Melko, Teundras Oaks, Parker Patzke and Joshua Robinson. The Jan. 20 performance will be with veteran troupe members Siobhan Brumbelow, Byron Harvey, Joe Lemmo, Jessica “It’s All Good” Williams and Jason Wilson.

As of Monday, acts signed for Last Laugh include Kil Theodrick, Mark Sexton Treandos Thornton, Jennifer O'Brien, with room for a few more.

You can register to compete online.

Since 2007, the iThink Improv Troupe has traveled to local elementary schools within Cherokee County to provide and encourage creating writing through improvisation. In 2011, iThink broadened their outreach by adding “comedic game show” performances for the public to participate in and enjoy.

iThink now performs family-friendly improv shows the first Friday of every month in downtown Woodstock.
