Lane Closures Planned For Bells Ferry Road in Cherokee County
The lane closures will be implemented Feb. 23-24 at the Highway 92 intersection for a resurfacing project.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA -- Cherokee County motorists, you have been warned.
The Cherokee County Engineering - Roadway Capital Program Department will close lanes along Bells Ferry Road at Highway 92 on Thursday and Friday to accommodate a resurfacing project.
The closures will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 23-24 so crews can resurface the intersection, the Cherokee County government said.

You can expect to see crews directing motorist through the area at the time of the resurfacing.
The project will be funded with sales tax dollars, and "will improve the traffic flow and operation of this intersection," the county said on its Facebook page.
