After months of extensive repairs, the restaurant is projecting a reopening sometime between mid-February and the beginning of March. The fire originated in the ceiling of the dry storage room overnight on October 23 and caused smoke and fire damage throughout the structure. Nobody was in the restaurant at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries reported. (Subscription: Cherokee Tribune & Ledger-News)
  2. The Cherokee County School District (CCSD) will be holding a virtual job fair on Friday. The open positions are within the Special Education department for the upcoming 2023-24 school year and include school psychologists, speech language pathologists, board certified behavior analysts and more.
