Man Fatally Stabbed Inside Cherokee Mobile Home
Cherokee sheriff's investigators are interviewing several witnesses to the incident, which occurred just after midnight Sunday.

Cherokee County, GA -- Detectives with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office are working to determine who is responsible for the stabbing death of a 22-year-old man overnight Sunday.

Deputies responded to a call of a domestic dispute around 12:38 a.m. Jan. 10 in the Hidden Falls of Acworth mobile home park, which is located off Bells Ferry Road south of Eagle Drive.
Deputies arrived on the scene to find a man, who was a resident of the mobile home, suffering from multiple stab wounds to his chest, said Cherokee Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Lt. Jay Baker.

The victim was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Baker said five adults and three children were inside the home at the time of the incident, and investigators are interviewing the people who were inside the home when the incident occurred.
No other suspects are being sought in this investigation, Baker stated. Return to Patch for updates.
