Man Found Dead In Woodstock Mobile Home Fire
The cause of the fire was cooking-related, according to the county fire department.

WOODSTOCK, GA — A man was found dead in a burning Victoria Road mobile home late Tuesday afternoon, according to the Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services Department.
The man was identified as Joseph Stacey, 83, of Woodstock, according to a news release from the fire department Wednesday.
Firefighters responded around 5:45 p.m., when they saw the mobile home suffering from a significant fire, according to the release.

Stacey was found while crews were searching the home.

The sheriff's office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Crime Lab are conducting a death investigation.
Victoria Road was closed Tuesday night while fire crews worked. Deputies helped with traffic control, and the road was reopened around 9 p.m., according to the release.
