Man Robbed at Gunpoint at Woodstock Outlet Mall

BREAKING: The armed robbery was reported Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot at the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta.

WOODSTOCK, GA — The Woodstock Police Department is asking residents to help them track down two armed robbery suspects who held a man at gunpoint on Tuesday.

Officers responded around 2:05 p.m. Oct. 11 to the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta at 915 Ridgewalk Parkway and met with the victim, who recounted the incident to authorities.

The man told police he was walking through the parking lot when he was stopped by a man, who brandished a semi-automatic handgun and "demanded the victim’s necklace and hat," Woodstock police said.

At that point, another suspect exited a vehicle and also approached the victim. Both suspects demanded the victim hand over additional items and threatened to shoot him before a passing vehicle approached the area, Woodstock police added.

Both suspects hopped into their vehicle, possibly a gray rental 2015 or 2016 Ford Focus with Florida tags, and fled the scene.

Both suspects are described as black males who are between 20 and 25 years old. The first suspect reportedly had a slim build, about 6 feet to 6 feet, 2 inches' tall, and was wearing a tan bucket hat, white short-sleeved shirt and "oversized" blue jeans.

The second suspect was shorter, about 5 feet, 11 inches, to 6 feet tall, had short hair and a medium build. He was sporting a white tank top and khaki cargo shorts.

Police also say a third suspect, a woman, was in the Ford Focus, but no description of her could be provided.
