WOODSTOCK, GA — The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for a man wanted in connection to a domestic-related shooting in the Rose Creek area of the Towne Lake community in Woodstock.
Investigators with the agency have issued arrest warrants for 47-year-old Marshall Phillip McCall, 47, in connection to an incident reported Wednesday afternoon, said sheriff's office spokesperson Sgt. Lauren Denson.
Deputies responded to a call of a domestic altercation between two people. The victim was shot and transported to an area hospital for treatment. CSO detectives have charged McCall with aggravated assault and robbery in connection to the incident. He is described as a white male who is 6 feet tall, weighs about 210 pounds, and has brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt and gray pants. Search efforts of the area were conducted by the sheriff's office and the Georgia State Patrol, but have been unsuccessful at this point.
The sheriff's office has not released any details about the neighborhood where the shooting took place or the relationship between McCall and the victim. However, Sgt.
