Marshal's Office Opens Substation At County Admin Building

The venue will allow deputy marshals and animal control officers to complete paperwork without slowing down response times.

CANTON, GA — The Cherokee Marshal’s Office has opened a second precinct located at the county administration building in Canton. The precinct is located on the main floor of the offices at 1130 Bluffs Parkway.

The agency will have a deputy marshal on-site during normal business hours, County Commission meetings and when special events are held at the facility.

The opening of the second location allows deputy marshals and animal control officers another venue to to complete paperwork and administrative tasks without slowing down response times. It also gives Cherokee County citizens a chance to ask questions related to the marshal's office.

"This is an excellent opportunity to make our services even more accessible to the citizens we serve while providing a law enforcement presence for the employees and citizens that work and frequent the building," said Chief Marshal Ron Hunton.
