Memorial Day isn’t just about BBQ, Pools Opening, Graduations, Family Gathering, Fireworks or the beginning of Summer. As good as those things are Memorial Day is much more.
Memorial Day is about Remembering, about Mourning, about Honor and about of Love. It is a day when we reflect on the significance of service and the gravity of sacrifice.

At 3 p.m. local time, according to the 2000 National Moment of Remembrance Act, which was passed to emphasize the meaning of Memorial Day, all Americans should "voluntarily and informally observe in their own way a moment of remembrance, honor and respect, pausing from whatever they are doing for a moment of silence or listening to 'Taps.'"

No matter how we do it, what’s important about Memorial Day is that we all “Remember” the sacrifices made by the countless numbers of Men and Women of our U.S. Military that sacrificed their lives for the freedoms we enjoy each and every day.
