In Memory: Patrick Keith Price, 30, Fifth Grade Sunday School Teacher

Patrick Keith Price, 30, of Woodstock passed away suddenly from medical causes on Sept. 29, 2015, and went on to the presence of the Lord.

The Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Woodstock. Interment will be held at Enon Cemetery in Woodstock.

Patrick was born in Marietta, on Nov. 29, 1984, to Gene and Paula Price.

He graduated from Lassiter High School and went on to receive a degree in political science from Kennesaw State University. Patrick and Brittany Brummel Price made their covenant vows to each other on July 9, 2011.

In the year 2007, he served as an intern in the office of the Governor under Gov. Sonny Perdue and then went on to serve as a fellow.

At the time of his passing, Patrick was the Strategic Planning, Initiatives and Innovations Coordinator for the State Board of Pardons and Paroles and a mandated Peace Officer. As a fifth-grade Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Patrick had the opportunity to mentor and disciple many children and continued to be a role model to them into their young adult lives. His life goal was to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Brittany; three young children: Peyton Keller, Evan Patrick, and Nathan Jude; his parents, Gene and Paula Brown Price of Marietta; his sisters, Laura Latham (Patrick), Kerry Gwinn (Scott); his grandparents, Sarah Price, and Paul and Peggy Brown; many nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Patrick Price Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.

The family will receive friends Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta.

Funeral arrangements will be handled by Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Historic Marietta Chapel.
