'A Midsummer Night's Dream' Brings Tale of Love, Revenge to Woodstock
Elm Street Arts will present its show at the Event Green and Resurgens Orthopaedics Community Stage along Market Street.
Residents are invited to enter a vibrant world where fairies dance overhead, a donkey bursts into song and a love potion makes your perspective turn on a dime.
Mischief meets merriment in this Elm Street rendition of Shakespeare’s popular romantic comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The most magical part of it all is that it will be performed on the Event Green and Resurgens Orthopaedics Community Stage.
“This version is a lot like the frolicking tale of true love, revenge, and fairy magic, but is more accessible for modern audiences to enjoy,” said Director Harmony Reid.

The show will take place April 24-25, April 30, May 1 and May 3 and all shows will start after dusk.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Group rates are available upon request.
