Motorcyclist Killed In Crash On I-75 In Cherokee County
The victim, who was from Alabama, was transported to an area hospital where he later passed away.
CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA -- An Alabama man died over the weekend in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Cherokee County.
Deputies with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the crash around 5:06 p.m. Saturday, July 1 on I-75 near the Woodstock Road overpass. They arrived on the scene to find the driver of the motorcycle, Chad Belzer, 46, of Ozark, Alabama, seriously injured.
Belzer was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead, the sheriff's office said. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
