New Doctor Joins Arthritis & Total Joint Specialists In Woodstock

With the addition of Dr. Beringer, the practice is expanding its services to offer total shoulder replacement.

From Arthritis & Joint Specialists: Dr. Don Beringer has joined Dr. Brian Seng and Arthritis & Total Joint Specialists in Woodstock. The practice is located at the Northside Cherokee/Towne Lake Medical Campus at 900 Towne Lake Parkway, Suite 202, Woodstock. Dr. Beringer began seeing patients June 1.

Arthritis & Total Joint Specialists specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and chronic joint pain of the hip, knee and shoulder. With the addition of Dr. Beringer, the practice is expanding its services to offer total shoulder replacement. The practice offers outpatient total joint replacement, allowing patients to go home within hours of their surgery and with less pain.

“I encourage my patients to be active participants in their care and experts in their own musculoskeletal health,” said Dr. Beringer, who serves patients with the latest therapies and surgical procedures to reduce joint pain, optimize function and restore quality of life.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Beringer uses the latest in minimally invasive surgery including anterior hip replacement, robotic assisted hip and knee replacement, total and partial knee replacement and shoulder and reverse shoulder replacement.

In addition to providing patient care, Dr. Beringer is dedicated to advancing the understanding of complex surgical techniques and has published his research extensively. He serves as an associate editor for Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, a leading international orthopedic publication, and has served as an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at Mercer University School of Medicine.
