New Physician Joins Northside Cherokee Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

A new face has joined the team at Northside Cherokee Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.

Brian Seng, D.O., joins Dr. Stephanie Hsu, Dr. Travis Jones and Dr. Matthew Simmons in providing full-service orthopedic medicine to patients of all ages throughout Cherokee County.
Dr. Seng works alongside Dr. Jones at Northside Cherokee Orthopedics & Sports Medicine’s newest location at the Northside Cherokee/Towne Lake Medical Campus in Woodstock. Dr. Hsu and Dr. Simmons continue to see patients at the practice’s Holly Springs facility.

“I am excited to be a part of the incredible expansion of health care here in Cherokee County,” said Dr. Seng. “Northside Hospital-Cherokee’s commitment to offer its residents the highest quality health care possible was integral to me relocating my practice here.”
“Our fellowship-trained physicians at Northside Cherokee Orthopedics and Sports Medicine are an example of this, offering the newest techniques in anterior hip, knee and shoulder replacement, sports medicine injuries, fracture care and foot and ankle care,” Dr. Seng said.
Dr. Seng is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, who specializes in hip and knee replacement. He graduated from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. Afterwards, he went to St. John Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights, Michigan, where he completed an internship and his residency in orthopedic surgery, also serving as chief resident. He followed with a fellowship in adult reconstruction with Joint Implant Surgeons in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Seng served as team physician for the Henderson Christian High School and Hazel Park High School football teams and multiple other schools in Henderson County, North Carolina. His studies have been published and he has presented his work at numerous meetings and symposiums. Dr. Seng is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association and the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
Northside Cherokee Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is located at the Northside Cherokee/Towne Lake Medical Campus at 900 Towne Lake Parkway, Suite 320 in Woodstock, and at the Northside/Holly Springs Medical Office Building, 684 Sixes Road, Suite 130, in Holly Springs.
