Obituary: Elizabeth Kofoed, 86
Visitation with Kofoed's family is today and she will be laid to rest at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
The following obituary was submitted by Woodstock Funeral Home:
Elizabeth "Betty" Kofoed, age 86, of Woodstock passed away on Nov. 9, 2013.
Betty was a wonderful, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years John P. Kofoed of Woodstock, daughters, Christine Kofoed and Cindy Dombeck (Harold); son, John Kofoed (Fernando Sedatelli); brother William Koch and grandson David Dombeck (Elise).
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Paul Baumgartner and Justin Ask officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
The family will receive friends today between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1208 Rose Creek Dr. Woodstock, GA 30189 or to the Salvation Army.
