Outlet Mall Armed Robbery Suspect Strikes Again: FBI
The FBI believes 1 of 2 suspects, who are accused of robbing Jared Vault last year in Woodstock, targeted a jewelry store in North Carolina.

Mebane, North Carolina -- The FBI believes one of two suspects accused of robbing a jewelry store last year in Woodstock has resurfaced in a neighboring state.

The federal agency, along with state and local law enforcement departments, is asking the public to help identify the two suspects, who agents believe have been behind multiple jewelry store robberies in the Peach State as well as Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee.
The most recent robbery occurred around 10:36 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4 when a woman entered a Jared Vault store in Mebane, North Carolina, and displayed a handgun, the agency said.

“At gunpoint, the suspect forced two employees to a back room and zip-tied their hands,” the FBI said in its press release. “She then returned to the merchandise area, removed various items from display cases and placed them into a shopping bag before exiting the store and fleeing in an unknown direction.”

The woman, described as a white female in her late 20s or early 30s, is also believed to have pulled off various robberies similar in nature last year in Sevierville, Tennessee, on Oct. 16; Jared Jewelry in Bluffton, South Carolina on Sept. 2; Reeds Jewelers in Panama City Beach, Florida, on Aug. 11; Zale’s Jewelry in Dawsonville, Georgia, on Aug. 5; and Jared Jewelry in Woodstock on April 29.
The female suspect is about 5’8” tall and weighs around 130 pounds. A black male suspect in his late 30s or early 40s and approximately 6’ tall and 250 pounds is also seen on surveillance video during the robberies in Panama City, Woodstock and Dawsonville.
Surveillance photos appear to show the suspects utilizing multiple vehicles of varying styles.
Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of these suspects or jewelry store robberies is asked to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
