Parents Encouraged To Attend Parent University Session In March

The Cherokee Council PTA has set the schedule for its Parent University program presented in collaboration with the district and community.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — The Cherokee County Council PTA has set the schedule for its Parent University program presented in collaboration with the district and community partners.

Parents are welcome to attend any of the upcoming sessions; each will feature the same topics - mental health awareness and suicide prevention - and speakers from Cherokee Schools' School Police Department and Social and Emotional Learning initiative, and Highland Rivers Health.

The free program is 6:30 to 8 p.m. on:

  • March 11 at Cherokee High School
  • March 18 at Etowah High School
  • March 25 at River Ridge High School
  • March 31 at Sequoyah High School

It was presented at Creekview High School last month.
